How to care for organic cotton properly – So your T-shirt stays beautiful for longer

You've invested in a high-quality T-shirt made from 100% organic cotton. To ensure it lasts a long time, stays soft, and retains its shape, proper care is essential. The good news: it's simpler than you think.

🧻 Washing

  • Wash at 30°C – this protects the fibers and saves energy
  • Wash inside out – protects the print and color
  • No fabric softener – it builds up in the fibers and makes organic cotton less breathable
  • Use mild detergent or special detergent for natural materials

🌬️ Drying

  • Do not tumble dry – organic cotton can shrink
  • Dry flat or on a hanger in the air
  • Do not dry in direct sunlight – this will fade the color

👕 Ironing

  • Iron at a medium temperature (level 2)
  • Iron inside out to protect the print
  • Steam is okay

📏 Preventing Shrinkage

Organic cotton can shrink slightly during the first wash. Therefore, we recommend choosing one size larger when purchasing – or washing the T-shirt cold once before the first wear.
